Eyecare Associates has acquired the latest in Cirrus Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology. The Cirrus OCT is a high definition retinal scanning instrument which is becoming the industry standard for retinal disease diagnosis, management and treatment. It is useful in managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Ocular disease includes: optic nerve disorders, including glaucoma; retinal disorders - problems with the nerve layer at the back of the eye; macular degeneration - a disease that destroys sharp, central vision; and Diabetic eye problems.
